Jenna Ortega as Wednesday

Wednesday is the top-rated TV show on Netflix by our student body with an average score of 8.7/10! If you haven’t seen it, Wednesday is based on the young girl from the 1964 sitcom, The Addams Family. Played by Lisa Loring in the 60s, this new Wednesday—Jenna Ortega this time aroundis about a gothic teenager who got expelled from her previous school, and gets sent to a boarding school. The show goes through the trials and tribulations of being a gothic teenager living with her bubbly opposite, played by Emma Myers.

Next, we have Ginny & Georgia, the second most-watched by our student body. The average rating for this was a 7.6/10. Daughter Ginny, a nickname for Virginia, and mom, Georgia, move up north to run away from the criminal past Georgia has left behind. Ginny and Georgia strive to bury their past while Ginny is forced to grow up and try to fit in during challenging circumstances.

The Great British Baking Show is a show in which, well, a bunch of British people come together and have a bake-off. It’s the perfect balance of stress and fun, watching those you dislike fail and those you like succeed. TGBBS is a fun, casual, watch for procrastinating homework! Or, to put on while doing homework.

Lastly, we have That '90s Show, a sequel to That 70s Show. Based in 1995, it goes through the same topics most casual sitcoms do, and features characters and actors from its predecessor. This is a perfect show for people who love Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and That '70s Show, as expected.

In addition to the top vote-getters, other students have positive things to say about a lot of shows out there: The Good Place, BoJack Horseman, Shameless, Stranger Things, New Amsterdam among others. With this newfound information, get out there and start watching!
